Bethany House Ministries engages with those in prison, instilling in them a sense that they are not alone, that their faith in Christ will guide and help them through this most difficult time and then to set the seeds for a successful reentry back into society.

Our Lady of Mercy lay Dominican Chapter Norfolk State Prison

Bethany House Ministries supports the Men at Norfolk State Prison in all the activities of running a chapter of the lay Dominican Order

Holiday Packages for those in Prison

For over 30 years BHM has solicited funds and product providing every man in Norfolk, Old Colony, Cedar Junction prisons, Boston Pre Release and Mass Treatment Center a Holiday gift consisting of soap, toothpaste, shampoo, writing tablet, etc.

Cursillo at Norfolk State Prison

For over 20 years Bethany House Ministries has assisted in promoting and supporting St. Basil of Methuen MA. to conduct Cursillo Weekends for the men at Norfolk Prison

Re-Entry

For over 30 years Bethany House Ministries has responded to requests for help with Housing, clothing, basic toiletries, job skills, help in obtaining critical documents, family reunification and sometimes just someone to check in with.

Residence Encounter Christ Retreats

BHM has conducted Residence Encounter Christ retreats at Walpole, Bay State and Old Colony Prisons and South Middlesex Pre-Release

Volunteers

Bethany House Ministries has promoted and encouraged those who wish to volunteer at various programs including Restorative Justice, Lifers group and Lay Dominican Order.
